Great stay. Location on the beach was fantastic. Lots of swimming

This was by far the nicest hotel in the area. It’s not in Patong Beach, but that is a good thing. It costs 400 baht to travel by taxi to the main part of the city. We picked this resort so that we could just relax on the beach and at the pool. It was perfect for that. The beach is clean and pretty private since it’s at the end of the cove. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Everyone and everything was amazing! The staff was so helpful and accommodating! The food and entertainment were awesome and never disappointed us. The entertainment staff was engaging and fun the entire time! We stayed here for our honeymoon and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful Thailand retreat. We will definitely be back again!

The best hotel I have ever stayed at hands down. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Balcony sat right on the beach so we had the perfect view. Advise anyone staying in this area to stay at this hotel Ow and make sure you sign up for the VIP lounge

My mum and I got food poisoning on our third day – we only ate in the hotel (we shared a pizza). We were both basically out of action for 30 hours. Other than that, the hotel was great, the staff were amazing and we couldn’t have had a better time!

The cleanliness in my hotel room was so-so, the floor at the outside corridor was sticky and my bathtub was leaking even we complaint and got repaired. The hotel is pretty old. The customer service were poor as no one pick us up when we went back to hotel at late midnight and it was raining. buggy service was slow too. Otherwise, overall are in tip-top.

the environment, garden is wonderful and the pool is great, suitable for relax or family group.

We were very satisfied with our 8-night stay at this hotel. It is family friendly. That being said, if you truly want privacy and elegant evening dining I would suggest an alternative hotel. We would definitely stay here again. The location is perfect – far enough away from Patong to eliminate the extra traffic but close enough to all excursions to still qualify for free hotel pick up on most day trips.

I have requested double bed, but since not available they provided single bed room upgrade. Requested special greeting during check in (spouse birthday) the greeting was none. The complimentary tea bag and tissue paper never been refilled when empty when room service performing room cleaning. The price and the service really not worthy. The location very super near to the beach. The spring bed not comfort anymore.

Great resort. Staff was excellent! Loved the location. I had the plunge pool deluxe sweet. I just wished the plunge pool was heated so I can enjoy it more in the night time. The water in the plunge pool was cold at night. Other than that. Everything was great! Would come here again.

Great location and amenities. Overall food is quite expensive however it is just a short walk to tuk tuk ride to the town with plenty of restaurants and bars

This location was beautiful loved my stay there the staff were great and so was my room. Looks like they are due for some refurb to bring the hotel back to its prime however it was still in okay condition

Location was fabulous. On beach and 15 minute beach walk to town and more action. Very quiet property with great service and food. Everyone was helpful and pleasant.

Everything was perfect. Friendly stuff. Beautiful beach front.. I am not sure about the breakfast.. it wasn’t very tasty to be honest. Maybe I am just so spoiled.

Its really a great staycation in this hotel. Most of the staffs are nice n always with a friendly smiley face. Location is good, just 8-10mins grab ride to the market. Massage is comfy and facilities are clean, provided locker allowed me to keep my stuff after swimming. Lazy river, slider and all water funs are welcomed to all ages as a kidult as we do. The beach is magnificent! Soft sand along the whole beach, breezy waves are so perfect for surf board rides. Finally, our delux pool vila! Its full of sunshine! The pool is clean, water is clean, balcony is clean! Thats exactly what a resort we expected for! Must stay again longer next time and thank you for the hotel’s hospitality. 🙂

The pool was dirty, the property was not well taken care of, and the food and drink was way, way overpriced. The room was nice, and the staff was friendly.

The resort was good. The room was stunning (premium ocean facing club room) however, the air conditioning doesn’t keep up as well as I’d like. It was 38 degrees most days so having the shutters open wasn’t really an option. The beach doesn’t have chairs and umbrellas which is a huge issue. I need shade so this meant more pool time. I wanted to be here for the sea, not a pool. Coffee in the room was instant and not tasty. The grounds are stunning and the service is wonderful. Food in the restaurants was fabulous compared to going into town. Save the time and just stay on the resort. I wish they had an all inclusive option, as that would have made this easier / better.

When we arrived, there was a hiccup regarding our reservation, but they kindly and quickly got us settled into our room. The room looks like the photo and is quite large. The staff was wonderful and there’s a great happy hour there. I would say the food is decent, but you’re close enough to Karon, so venture out and explore. The resort is great for couples and families. There was quite a few activities for kids, and even though we were two adults, we also had so much fun going down their water slide! Their SPA. HOLY MOLY. This was the best massage I’ve ever had. So soothing and relaxing, and 100% worth it. This is a must.

Beautiful location right on the beach. All the rooms have great view of the ocean. The room was nice and clean. The staff were nice and friendly. The only drawback is how overpriced all the food was at the hotel. There’s a restaurant on the beach right next to the hotel that’s pretty decent for less. You can also go to town to eat.

This hotel is so beautiful and we had such an amazing experience on our stay in Phuket. they did this amazing candle lit 5 course dinner for my birthday on the beach, my boyfriend said they let him pick out everything from the drinks to the food it was a surprise I had no idea and every course was amazing and they had music and took our picture. The rooms are to die for. We got the one with the jacuzzi outside and we used it almost every day. and the beach is on there property so you can go down to the beach after the pool. Love and enjoyed our stay here.

This is a 3 star hotel masquerading as a 5. It’s food and service was very average (especially for a Thai hotel), it lacked any beach amenities, but it seemed a good fit for families as the pools are pretty elaborate with a lazy river, water slides and plenty of recliners around the pools (none on the beach). Just be aware that this is not even close to being a luxury property. Check-in is cumbersome for club level and it took over an hour even though we were the only guests checking in. They tried to nickel and dime us for EVERYTHING. Don’t get tricked into the “half-board” food plan because what they don’t tell you is that your only options for dinner are hamburgers and sandwiches. The steak or seafood costs extra. Also, they said they would prepare our room in a special romantic way for our one year anniversary, and then forgot. The beach is very nice though, long and wide with beautiful warm water and small swells for body surfing and swimming. It was not crowded at all when we were there in November. We stayed 2 nights in the pool suite looking directly out to the beach and yet still we were happy to leave because this property didn’t have the level of service or comfortable surroundings that we were looking for. I should mention that we are discerning travelers who have traveled throughout countless countries and have stayed in numerous hotels in Thailand. If you’re looking for an average to slightly above average experience, this place would be a good fit.

Great hotel best location in Thailand

We have 2 deluxe pool suites for 5 nights. On 1st day in the, there are hammering noises, complaint through phone but not resolved, came down to reception to complain. On 2nd day, noises continue to come, we suspect that the hotel may be renovating a room above us, record the noise and go to reception to complain. On 4th day, lunch time, noises again, complain thru phone. There is no explanations and no sorry for the noises. Except the noises, everything else are perfect: room, service, food, restaurants, pools, etc..

Very posh resort on gorgeous beach. Front desk staff needs to be made more aware of all promotions.

Decided to stay here for our honeymoon for scenery, proximity to the beach, and jetted tub. Did not have a good experience unfortunately. We are optimistic people and didn’t want the experience to ruin our honey moon, but here is a breakdown. Pros: Friendly staff in the dining, pool and spa area Spa is tranquil and very professional Pretty view of the beach Cons: Arrival in room had cleaning mop in room, bed hastily made and sand in between the sheets (did not appear to have been changed prior to our arrival) Shower was missing seal to the door. Entire room flooded all the way to bedroom every time you took a shower Tub on Balcony has dark brown water (even after running it for over an hour) Picture of rag we used to clean attached Hot water shut down for 24 hours (how was restaurant open?) Housekeeping asked if we stole decorative pillows that apparently were supposed to be in the first room after switching (which we never saw) Got stuck in the elevator, twice Small reptiles crawling in rooms from the large gap under front door Birds flying around restaurant, eating off the utensils for buffet and not being changed Water slides are shallow and caused injury Resort needs upkeep. Cracks, stains on walls, missing hardware, rusted screws in showers etc Resort mentioned they would do something about our less than ideal stay but in the end did nothing Overall, I can’t say that I would recommend anyone to stay here. It is too expensive for the quality.

The Centara Beach Resort was a great hotel, especially for families. It has everything from a couple of restaurants, several pool areas, beach access, spa, workout facility and even a place for children to go for those couples that would like a quit day alone. I’d definitely recommend.

Great hotel great food great staff

Had a really great time and was very well looked after by all of the staff. Ham the poolside manager was fantastic along with Seba and Sandra lovely people. The resort itself is great for kids and plenty of entertainment every day. Highly recommended for a young family holiday.
